My husband designed this super cool applique about 5 months ago.  I’m not sure why it took so long to make this skirt.  Possibly because I had other things on my sewing to do list.  Maybe because I was a little intimidated by all the small details in the applique.  Or most likely plain old procrastination:)  I’m glad I finally finished it though.  I had fun picking out the fabrics for the different pieces of the fairy.  Sewing it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be.  It was pretty time consuming though.

I really really like how this one turned out and I know I’ll make one for myself in the future.  You can get this one at my Etsy store Weeza Wear.

By the way, if you have any great applique ideas let me know.  I love trying new things.
